A weekend at my Dutch Granny

Hi, Here I am with the story and photos of the weekend I spent at my Dutch grandma in the middle of November, ... as I promised.

Actually this visit in Holland was quite special: it was the 1st time this year we travelled to the Netherlands and it was the 1st time for me to fly.

Just to feel relaxed on board I slept in the car on the way to the airport.

Here are the globetrotters :-)

My parents, me and Bicske Grandma, my baby-sitter for the annual family dinner.

Well, everybody was a little bit excited about the flight; how I would handle standing in the queue while checking-in, going through security, waiting in the departure lounge, boarding the plane, findig the most suitable seats for all of us preferably next to each other, ... and how I would behave during the 100-min-flight itself to Brussels.

Everything went smoothly; I could sit by the window with Mummy... and enjoyed it a lot! The flight, the cookies, and the view, of course! Look!

Breathtakingly beautiful!

It was more than a 2-hour-flight because of the weather conditions. The big lilac-pink bird landed after 5 pm due to the stormy wind and heavy rain. Peter was already waiting for us...

I was very happy to see him again. `Hoi Peter!`, I said. I was in an extremely good mood that day... laughed a lot, talked all the time, created new words (from anyajegy apajegy, Dancsi jegy, Oma jegy, Peter jegy,)...

Oma Beppie was looking forward to meeting us. She was well-prepared, as usual: presents, nice decorations all around and delicious dinner.

After the long day I went to bed in time without any difficulties and slept very well.
Look! I`m ready for the Saturday! The program is visiting the Intratuin to check the Xmas decorations. Enjoy the photos Mummy took in this shopping centre.

Oh, if we had had more luggage not only our hand luggage, we could have bought lots of nice things for Xmas! Anyway, it was fun to see all the beautiful Xmas-related things... The rest of the day was relaxed; we visited Willy, Jos and Tilly, I played a lot...

...met all the close relatives and collected some cute presents from them ;-)

Willy dyed Mummy`s hair and tried out a hairstyle for her which was quite nice.

Here are my parents ready to join the family dinner.
While everybody was enjoying the annual dinner at a nice restaurant, I was at home with my Hungarian granny also having fun. ;-)
Here are the 3 sisters who always sponsor the dinner.

Here is Uncle Peter on the left and Willy & Jos on the right.

And in the picture above you can see Kiki & Luik; they bought this cute kangaroo for me in Australia. I like it (and also them!) a lot.:-)
On Sunday we had some dry spells, so I could go outside a little bit.

I also played inside with my new toys and the family members, too.

Early afternoon I had to say good-bye to everybody :-( Yes, also to Dickie Dik, grandma`s cat.

`Don`t be sad, I`ll be back at Xmas!`, I said.
It was Peter again who gave us a ride to the airport to Brussels. Everything was all right, I was a good girl again.

This time the flight was quicker as we had the back wind. It was not only me who enjoyed flying, but also my new doll, Mickey Mouse and my grandmother. ;-)

We got home safe and sound.
It was interesting to fly... I wasn`t afraid at all!!!
Sometimes I pretend I`m flying.
Look!

Well, that`s it for now. It`s already late at night and Mummy has to go to sleep. I won`t let her sleep longer than 8 in the morning!!! So... Bye for now!
